3. Nice. I like him.
I've gotten over his silly delay in condemning Gonzalez.

6. His poll numbers have picked up lately
He gained 3 points in the latest Rasmussen Iowa poll and went up to 13% from 6% in September in the WMUR New Hampshire poll. He's also slightly improved in some recent national polls. Hopefully the media will give him more attention based on some of these recent poll increases.

8. Bill better look at the Senate race in 08. As of now the Wilson
lady ( also part of the u s attorney scandal ) in New Mexico has filed for this seat. Either Bill shall chose to run for the open seat or find the democrat that will pick up this senate seat for the dems in the senate. With all the vitiloic comments directed towards HRC lately, I doubt serious that Bill will be asked to serve in her administration.

9. NM Rep Udall has declared for that Senate race and polls well ahead of the Repugs
Tom Udall is very popular and, like Richardson, polls is in double digits above both Repug challengers. Richardson has made it clear that he didn't want to run for the Senate. He probably would accept a VP slot but since he still has a long shot at the nomination, it makes sense that he'll deny that he's interested now.

He hasn't made any "vitiloic" comments about Hillary other than criticizing her, as he has criticized Edwards and Obama, on what he has felt are personal attacks on other candidates. He started off his campaign trying to get all the candidates to sign a pledge agreeing to only criticize each other on policy differences. It's one of the themes of his campaign.

His position as "nice guy" of the bunch is his best play to get noticed. He doesn't have the poll numbers or money of the top three yet and wouldn't gain that much by joining in the attacks that come at the end of the campaigns. By playing the referee, he gets media time and can pick up voters turned off by the top three. When one of the criticisms by the top three lands on another, he may become an alternative for their supporter because he stayed out of the attacks on their former choice. It's his best niche in the race right now.
