Quakers Against Kucinich?
Quakers Rate All Candidates Awful on Peace, Fail to Include Kucinich

I kid you not. Is this a new height for self-defeatism? The Quakers have produced this chart ranking the candidates: http://www.fcnl.org/candidates

They include 5 Republicans and 4 Democrats, leaving out the man polling fourth or fifth in the various polls among the Democrats, and the only candidate who actually agrees with their positions.

Please ask them what they can possibly be thinking: media@fcnl.org

1. From their site.
Methods

Only the major Democratic and Republican presidential candidates are included due to limited resources. (In 2004, 216 presidential candidates filed with the Federal Election Commission.)

Our thresholds for consideration as a major candidate are:

On average, poll five percent or more in early states or nationally in any one month since June 2007; and

Actively campaigning.

Now I'm not sure, but has Kucinich polled above 5% in any state since June?

9. According to usaelectionpolls.com, he doesn't meet the criteria
Kucinich hasn't scored 5% or more in any of these polls:

2. They should be supporting Kucinich
then he'd be getting more than 5% in the polls.

3. Quakers are pacifists!
Dennis' views on gun control limits hi support on that group, as it does
with all the other candidates running.

a very good Friend.

I've always been amused that Bill Kristol & Pat Buchanan got 'pied' at a traditionally 'Quaker' university. Earlham.

Watch out for them 'Quakers'. They throw food.

10. The Quakers forgot to include Ron Paul as well...
with even the remote chance that Dennis will choose him, perhaps the Quakers should have included the two of them as a possible team.

Dennis is known, famous in fact, for his eccentricity...it is possible that he was asked for a statement and just plain forgot to respond. He has done this with many requests.
