Poll question: Poll: Is the Hillary campaign getting desperate?

What do you guys think?

2. Sounds to me like the Obama supporters are the ones getting desparate.
Edited on Sun Dec-02-07 10:15 PM by journalist3072
Because your candidate's bluff is finally being called.

There is so much in that fact check...for example, the fact that as soon as Obama was elected Senator, he started exploring a Presidential run.

Immediately after joining the Senate, Sen. Obama started planning to run for President:

"'The first order of business for Obama's team was charting a course for his first two years in the Senate. The game plan was to send Obama into the 2007-2008 election cycle in the strongest form possible,' writes Mendell in his forthcoming bio Obama: From Promise to Power...The final act of the plan was turning up the talk about a potential presidential bid, which was greatly aided by his positive press and suggestions by pundits that he run for president."

3. The desperate ones seem to be some of the Obama supporters on this forum.
How many frickin threads do you all need to start in regards to Hillary?

It's a real turn off to your candidate.

It's also obvious that you do still see Hillary as a real threat, because if you didn't you would just ignore her.

22. In a primary? Falling to other democrats? You're damn right I do.
Thats the problem with a lot of Hillary's supporters. They don't understand that the primaries aren't a love fest where we all get together and talk about how great we all are.

The primaries are the time to weed out weak candidates. Of course I applaud Hillary falling. She's the weakest candidate we have.

25. Well thats real sweet....
... but it doesn't win primaries. I support multiple candidates right now, Hillary just isn't one of them. Her falling gives, what I think is a stonger democrat, the change to get to the GE.

That is good for the party.

33. Her campaign started getting desperate the instant her auora of "inevitability" dissipated
Edited on Mon Dec-03-07 01:11 AM by Azathoth
She's never had to actually 'earn' votes in her life. Every election she has ever been in (all two of them) was a done deal long before she ever declared. Her campaign thought the same thing would happen here, that her celebrity status combined with the constant, lockstep "inevitability" meme pushed by everyone from the MSM to the GOP would give her an automatic lock on the nomination. Now that she's in a real race, things are starting to fall apart.

34. Yup, I was just saying something similar in another thread
For all her talk of being able to fight the republicans, she's never really had to do it. Both her senate elections were pretty much gimmes.
