Hillary Clinton's campaign displays obvious lies about Obama's kindergarten story
The latest in a shell game of lies only a conman could keep up with from the Hillary Clinton campaign is that her campaign advisor Mark Penn was on MSNBC's Morning Joe said "Oh, that is so silly!"

There's Mark Penn in the foreground writing more jokes for all of us. :boring:

That's funny! Ha... er...um... so what about the press release that is still available on the Hillary Clinton web site (I'm sure they'll pull it down but I already have a copy) that says:

In kindergarten, Senator Obama wrote an essay titled 'I Want to Become President.' "Iis Darmawan, 63, Senator Obama's kindergarten teacher, remembers him as an exceptionally tall and curly haired child who quickly picked up the local language and had sharp math skills. He wrote an essay titled, 'I Want To Become President,' the teacher said."

So is that a joke? Are we supposed to just wince at how stupid we are not to "get the joke"?

The only thing that's a joke is that most political observers have NEVER seen another candidate pick on another's kindergarten history. It's a first!

1. This Corn piece says it all:
"It's his presumptuousness," this operative says. "That he thinks he can deny her the nomination. Who is he to try to do that?" You mean, he's, uh, uppity? "Yes." A senior House Democratic aide notes, "The Clinton people are going nuts in how much they hate him. But the problem is their narrative has gone beyond the plausible."

2. Yuh...it's her time...
...to lose!

The deflation of Hillary Clinton is going to make fascinating reading for political science. We're watching history.

10. And then there's this part:
Until the caucus-goers of Iowa speak, there is no way to know if Clinton's DEFCON-1 assault on Obama will succeed or backfire. But the
Clinton attacks do say something about Hillary Clinton. She's adopting a whatever-it-takes strategy, mixing legitimate criticisms with
truth-stretching blasts. And her campaign aides have adopted a we-must-destroy-him mindset that they justify by viewing Obama as
a political lowlife.

Whatever-it-takes often works in political campaigns. But we all know that hatred can be blinding. Clinton is, as has been noted, running
the risk of alienating those kindhearted souls of Iowa by slamming the lovable, likable and inspiring Barack Obama. She could end up
looking a bit desperate. Candidates are always responsible for their campaigns, and they can be judged accordingly. If the Clinton campaign
throws anything it can against Obama--with little regard for accuracy or decency--that will reflect her own character and values. It could,
to turn her words against her, be a disqualification for the job.

The real Hillary is coming to the fore and it ain't a pretty sight. I'm pretty sure a lot of Iowans are thinking the same thing.

3. Oh gross.. Now I
have an image of the JokesterPollster who masterminds hillary's "flawless campaign".

I'm not so much interested in the inanity of outing the kindergarten essay as the murderous mentality of penn's strategy to cement hillary's tough as shit image on national-homeland-fucking-security.

4. Writing an essay in Kindergarten?
If Barrack did he is a genius. Third grade would be a stretch. Haven't followed this story but it appears to be a petty situation on Hillary's part. She needs to take a week off and compose herself. Maybe even fire her advisor or at least set him straight on who and what she is about. Not trash talking.

Being a Biden supporter this all looks positive for him, but, realistically, Obama, Clinton or Edwards are the likely candidates. So, it would be nice if they don't lose the popular vote for President due to this type of nonsense.

Like you said, if that's the case, Barack is a genius!

7. This is easy. The Clinton campaign is CLUELESS about how to run a winning campaign.
This is what they've got??? What are they doing??

Mark Penn, Ann Lewis, Patti Solis Doyle, Howard Wolfson.

These four will ensure Hillary's defeat.

8. Mark Penn is a hack
Said it before, and I'll say it again.

If Hillary pulls this off it will be despite him, not because of him, and we will have a horrible, horrible general election. What kind of crack house are these people running?

12. OMG! Obama also wrote a essay in the 2nd grade that said he wanted to be a fireman!!
Edited on Wed Dec-05-07 03:46 AM by Major Hogwash
That flip flopper!
When is this country going to wake up and realize that kids 5 years old must stick with the same career goals they write about in kindergarten until the day they actualize that career plan?!
What is wrong with you people!?!
Don't you know that when kindergarten students start dreaming of being president, they are prone to actually attempting to run for the office years later?
It's this same "I want to be president" attitude that JFK's opponents had when he ran for the office of president in 1960 and look at how that turned out!!

Somebody has to put their foot down and stop kindergarteners from writing essays about their dreams!
This is America, after all!!
