immigration was not an issue before because Clinton created 22M jobs.

Will you crack down on employers? YES.

The debate is extreme, and unrealistic to round up people and deport them.

I hope NPR does this during the presidential season. Two people, no audience, no stupid questions and lots of times to address issues.

That's the only issue that will cause me NOT to vote Democratic.

No studio audience, real journalists asking questions, all candidates are able to answer questions at length. It also seems to me that they all keep saying "Chris is right", or "I agree with what Joe said". So maybe Dodd and Biden are better candidates than a lot of people think.

People should be able to live on doing honest menial labor! It is respectable work that should be paid better.

Obama - no, there are many Spanish speaking Americans.

Clinton - we need to have English as a common unifying language, but there are many citizens who speak lang. other trhan English. We DO expect people who want to become legal in the USA to speak English, but they don't have to give up their own native language.

Kucinich - encourage our children should learn languages in school.

Dodd: education issues

Biden: Forerign Policy, how do you rationalize trade policies

Edwards: Who I would consider as my VP (cheesey) Then take power away from corporate interests

Kucinich: Taking Bush/Darth to gallows for getting us into a war, and new developments with Iran.

I don't know what it is about him, but when he says "when I am president", he doesn't say it as if he's hoping it is him, he says it as if it's a given. Everyone else says it with a measure of hope, and dignity, not arrogance.

Newspapers were ALL ABOUT Edwards taking Hillary to task on Iran... Check Edwards policies and YouTube answers on Immigration... Just search John Edwards Immigration. Edwards is just fine and is VERY specific... Crack down on Employers for hiring illegals, micro-lending to improve the circumstances of those who live in the countries from which people emigrate to th U.S ISO a better life (ILLEGALLY), Strengthen Labor laws, Penalize companies who offshore jobs.

solutions because we're demanding they fix it NOW even though getting to this point has been a process.

eliminate tax breaks for Corps to leave country. Trade policies, fair.

rational world oil policy (speculation re: wars) Americans will make sacrifices to achieve these goals.

How do we get rid of structual division in country: universal healthcare, aggressive effort to get off oil, living wage, rights of unions, housing policy that works. Make it easier for kids to go to college

Ron had an R, Hillary has a D. This letter designation was one of the point of contention on the previous point of DK making VP choices. This time, it's a D, so it's all good. People should be happy, he's back in the fold! :D
