DODD USES NIE TO BLAST HILLARY
From NBC's Mark Murray
This New York Times article today telegraphed it, but Clinton's rivals are now using the National Intelligence Estimate on Iran to blast her for her earlier vote in favor of designating the Iranian Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization.

"As was the case with Iraq, the latest NIE makes it clear that this President is offering another false bill of goods to Congress and the American people in an attempt to build the case for war with Iran," Dodd said in a statement. "Our experience should have shown us the danger in trusting this Administration as it marched to war. That is why I and many of my colleagues -- at least many of those who bothered to vote -- opposed the Kyl-Lieberman Amendment. Unfortunately, Senator Clinton instead chose to lend credence to the Administration's position." (Note Dodd's subtle dig at Obama, who opposed the measure but didn't vote on it because he was campaigning.)

Dodd concludes, "It's easy to say 'fool me once, shame on George Bush,' but when she's been fooled twice, shame on her."

2. Well, it's easy for DODD to say "fool me once", but if you recall, Bush once
had a very difficult time spitting that saying out. Even fucked that up.

17. He did vote Nay on K-L, to his credit.
However, now that we realize Iran has stopped its weapons program, it's time for a real, honest discussion of how to proceed with Iran--especially since the "OMG WE MUST DO SOMETHING NOW OR WE WILL DIE" people have been shut up.

8. Well, he is right.
I wonder if BushCo released this info to take the wind out of Clinton's sails? Bush looks so stupid already, piling on more stupid on him doesn't matter.

9. appears that Hillary has very very bad judgement
in matters of importance like war and destruction and devastation to the lower classes of this earth. but maybe she has really really good judgement if it means her military stock investment values will go up and contributions from the war machine makers will flow in faster if she sells another war. just make the check out to the LIE-brary.

10. That's a vote Hillary will have a hard time explaining
During today's NPR debate Hillary did poorly explaining her vote declaring the Iranian Guard as terrorist after this new NIE report.

13. Just for the record, her policy on the IRG is exactly the same as Obamas, word for word
Not saying you're an Obama supprter. I just find it odd that Hillary keeps getting presented as differing from Obma on the IRG designation

15. Biden supporter here
Didn't realize Obama agrees at all with the IRG. I know he was campaigning and didn't vote on it. That leaves things open to debate.

14. Nothing they can do or say will lower the integrity of the Goddess of Peace
They've been trying for decades to no avail. The lady overflows with peace.

I wouldn't be surprised if Coca Cola makes Hillary the centerpiece of a Peace and Harmony commercial just in time for the holidays.

16. Dodd, would you care to explain how
an NIE declaring that Iran isn't developing nukes conflicts at all with Hillary's position that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard provides material support for terrorism?
