3. No one runs for Vice President

It's a crap insult. Some are willing to consider it. Any candidate under age 60 who doesn't is an egomaniac. But the charge is always meant to imply "toadie" to people who've put their ass and their public characters entirely on the line to serve their country. The fact that 1/4th of the Vice Presidents in our history have become (or been elected) president themselves is somehow magically ignored in this insult.
