ABC News' Eloise Harper Reports: Less than 30 days before the critical Iowa caucuses, there's a shake-up in the Clinton presidential campaign. Hillary Clinton and Celine Dion appear to be parting ways.

For months, the soprano headlined Clinton's, D-N.Y., campaign appearances as Dion's "You and I" served as the former first lady's campaign theme song.

"High above the mountains, far across the sea," bellowed Dion over loudspeaker after loudspeaker.

"I can hear your voice calling out to me, Brighter than the sun and darker than the night, I can see your love shining like a light," the Canadian songstress would sing as the aspiring American president took or departed the political stage.

At first, Dion and Clinton hit a all the right notes, as they're likely to say in the inevitable VH1 Behind the Music special. Brought together in an inventive and original contest, "You and I" was unveiled as the people's choice for Clinton's destiny (not child's) filled run for the White House.

The song played on, from Iowa to South Carolina, without missing a beat. But, now, only the sounds of silence can be heard from the Clinton camp's Celine CD.

Instead on the trail these days, Big Head Todd and the Monsters are in and their "Blue Sky" is seemingly the campaign's favorite as the New York Senator enters and exits the stage.

The Clinton camp had no response when pressed by ABC News to explain why the sudden change from chick-favorite Vegas-anchored Dion to the masculine, Colorado-native Monsters.

Had someone asked who "Big Head Todd and the Monsters" were. I would have lamely asked if they were on Sesame Street.

4. This is news?
It's a good thing that there aren't any more important issues in this election than Hillary's choice of music, John Edwards' hair, Obama's childhood writings, etc.

Why does Hillary not trust her supporters' judgment anyway?

****

Dion song captures Clinton vote

Ms Clinton had suggested U2, Dixie Chicks and Jesus Jones songs

US presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton has announced that her campaign song will be Celine Dion's You and I after a month-long public vote on her website.

The strident ballad was nominated by a member of the public, and beat all of Ms Clinton's campaign song suggestions, such as U2's Beautiful Day.

The New York senator announced the winner in a video parodying the final episode of US TV drama The Sopranos.

Dion's song was previously used as a theme tune for Air Canada.

Personal connection

It features the lines, "You and I, we're meant to fly. Higher than the clouds we'll sail across the sky".

The selection of Dion, who was born in Canada, resulted in accusations from some Republicans that Clinton had "outsourced" her music.

About 200,000 votes were cast to choose the song, which beat choices like The Temptations' Get Ready, Smash Mouth's I'm A Believer and Dixie Chicks' Ready to Run.

I guess I would be showing my age if I said that I would have guessed that "Big Todd and the Monsters" were form a Sesame Street episode if I were forced 10 minutes ago to guess who they were. Not exactly Bruce Springsteen.

38. they're very well known in the mountain and midwest
which is a part of the country that's swinging blue. They are a working class/blue collar band that built their success by endless touring and self promotion - they worked outside of the "music biz" and were able to dictate their own terms when the majors finally "discovered" them.

Thie is a really smart move, actually. This will get her votes among a certain demographic, a democgraphic Democrats need to win.

15. HRC will soon be singing a different tune...............

Song: THE PARTY'S OVER

The Party's Over, it's time to call it a day.
They've burst your pretty balloon and taken the moon away.

It's time to wind up the masquerade.
Just make your mind up the piper must be paid.

The Party's Over. The candles flicker and dim.
You danced and dreamed through the night,
it seemed to be right just being with him.

Now you must wake up, all dreams must end.
Take off your make up, The Party's Over.
It's all over, my friend.

But if she goes with "Take the Skinheads Bowling", then I'll vote for her. Hell, I'd respect anything from Camper Van Beethoven. Or Handel - everytime she appears they could intro her with the Hallelujah Chorus, complete with laser light show.

That would rock.

33. you know - it could be because Big Head Todd
and the Monsters are from Colorado - where the convention is going to be?

That, and their fan base is a lot more blue collar than Celine Dion's, a demographic that any Democrat will need to win.

It's just another example of her cold and calculating personality, you know, and I think this is reason enough not to vote for her. I'm sure you agree....
