it seems that Hillary isn't the only one who can conjure up a southern drawl at will....

John Edwards at least has a real one.

And this is the only quote I found from the AP....and it was about the IOWA rally...not the SC rally. So what you said is complete bullshit. And why did A FEW leave early in IOWA?? Because it was in the middle of a freaking snow storm maybe? Your desperate attempt to 'spin' the story is very telling and pathetic.

Obama spoke after Winfrey, and acknowledged that he was under no illusions that the crowd was there to hear him. Indeed, some people left during his speech, although the majority stuck around to hear him.

38. That sounds like bull puckey...
...because, after all--Oprah was speaking about OBAMA.

Wouldn't that be a little ridiculous to come to a political rally for Obama, to hear
Oprah talk about Obama, and then leave when Obama spoke?

That sounds like a rumor.

I'm undecided on who I'm supporting for our primary--so maybe my bs detector is a bit
more sensitive.

43. It's a celebration for All Democrats!

Oprah did not have to be supporting Obama, she could just sit it out.

She did not have to say " this war is wrong" when she gave her speech the other day.

Just her voice for what is "justice" in America is a strong voice and hopefully she can help bring out the votes for our Party.

Gobama and GoO!

I'm an Edwards supporter, but I like Obama (I can't abide him kissing Lieberman's ass, but not one of these candidates is perfect). If Edwards can't do it, I hope Obama steamrolls over Hillary! :bounce:

At first I thought Oprah's endorsement might be a big fizzle, but it appears she really is rallying the troops for him.
