What time do the pools close tonight? Any idea when the results will be final?

I edited the subject. Reply 1 is for Ohio.

5. Early 5th Congressional District Election Results

http://www.wtol.com/Global/story.asp?S=7483075

Robin was out spent 4-1.

Results are coming in for the Fifth Congressional District election in which Democrat Robin Weirauch squared off against Republican Bob Latta.

With 13 precincts reporting, Bob Latta has 1,402 votes, and Robin Weirauch has 1,123.

Folks went to the polls to select a replacement for Paul Gillmor who unexpectedly died several months ago.

At least, some voters made a choice. Simply put: Voter turnout was pretty low. Some could have forgotten, and others might simply have been put off by inclement weather.

The Fifth District covers 16 districts, and folks were reminded they could vote absentee. Case in point: Wood County where 3,300 folks had already voted by election day.

Stay tuned to News 11 and wtol.com for updates on results.
