Who is running? Oprah or Obama?
I've heard nothing but Oprah. She is over shadowing Obama. I think this is becoming more about Oprah than Obama.

He ought to dump her and run on his own.

2. Trust me, Oprah isn't "overshadowing" Obama.
I attended the Columbia, SC rally. The crowd loved Oprah, but they were over the moon for Obama.

4. are the people who came to the Rally in SC registered to vote
are they typically voters?

it would be interesting if the oprah crowd are government apathetic or registered and considered voters.

not sure her audience has a high voting record? just curious if anyone knows.

I will say this now and history will vindicate me.

Oprah campaigning for Obama not only does not gain a single vote that isn't already his,

it hurts his campaign by turning anti-Oprah folks against obama.

She is not the superstar folks think.

she has a loyal fan base in a niche that will vote 10% for obama.

bored rich white housewives alone at home during the day.

roughly 10% of that crowd will vote for obama because oprah said and were likely voting for obama anyway.

there will be NO BIG WINS for obama or hillary in Iowa.

the race is between biden an Edwards in Iowa,

Edwards, Kucinich and Biden in NH.

the other 2 folks will lose so bad, the pollsters and DU boards will be rife with I told you so, from the supporters of kucinich, biden and edwards.

in the end, Edwards wins Pres. with Biden Sec. of State and Kucinich VP and he blows the republican out of water with 70% of the popular vote if we get rid of voting machines in california and georgia.

13. Women are the dominate voters in the US today....they WILL determine the next election.
"not sure her audience has a high voting record? just curious if anyone knows."

There are more women voters than men.

5. Hey, the corporate media is saying the same thing you are saying.....
How come?

Seems to me, Oprah has overshadowed the Clintons more than Obama, who was on the stage with him.

I think that your thread is silly.

14. I was flipping through the non-cable channels
I have access to and I saw Oprah at one of the Obama rallies. I could help but think to myself, "what does she get out of this whole thing?" And then it hit me, "maybe Oprah wants to be V.P."

Talk about your idle, uncorroborated, impossible, speculation.

:)

19. Why don't you ask who is running: Bill or Hillary?
because he's drawing far bigger crowds at his appearances than when she goes out alone. Seems like a decent amount of people only like Hillary because of Bill, certainly more so than the # of people who will vote Obama because of Oprah...
