Oprah surges to second place in NH!
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2007/12/12/cnn-nh-poll-obama-clinton-tied-romney-remains-strong/
Clinton is still viewed by Democratic primary voters as having the most experience and the best chance of beating the Republican presidential nominee in November 2008

Oparah polls at 30%, just 1% behind Clinton in latest CNN/WMUR poll.
Perhaps another revival tent meeting tour with Obama will put Oprah ahead?

This "news" story from CNN's hacks has decided to leave Oprah's name off the piece, downplaying the role the TV superultramegastar has played in the MSM's American Idol Choice Barack Obama's bump up the poll.

2. What?
"WASHINGTON (CNN) — Barack Obama has chipped away at Hillary Clinton’s lead in New Hampshire, and the two Democratic presidential hopefuls are now locked in a statistical tie less than one month before the first-in-the-nation primary, a CNN/WMUR Poll released Wednesday shows.

Clinton has dropped 5 percentage points since the CNN/WMUR November survey, while Obama has gained 8 percentage points, according to the poll conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center. Clinton is now at 31 percent to Obama’s 30 percent.

-snip-
In the battle for the Democratic presidential nomination, Clinton’s 5 percentage point drop in the past month has been largely due to the loss of support among woman.

“Clinton’s support among Democratic women in New Hampshire has dropped from 43 percent to 33 percent,” Holland said. “By contrast, her support among men dropped only one point to 27 percent in that same time period.”
Clinton is still viewed by Democratic primary voters as having the most experience and the best chance of beating the Republican presidential nominee in November 2008, but Obama is seen as more likable, more believable and more likely to unite the country."

I can't follow the "logic" of your OP but I am impressed with your ability to find the one line in the article which looks good for Clinton.

Heh. That's a take off on ObamaNations M.O. of taking *any* news story that happens along, cherry picking the one pro-bama or the one anti-Clinwards line, concocting a Yippee For Our Guy! subject line and adding a link they Hope no one follows.

3. Obama Clearly Got A Bump From Oprah
I think the positive (and) negative comments about her on this board are overdone...She's a mega celebrity, uber brand name... It is what it is...

Time to move on...

Robert Kennedy and John Kennedy had lots of celebrities associated with their campaign from Frank Sinatra to Sammy Davis Jr. to Roosevelt Grier to Andy Williams...

7. Just get Suprah Tuesday moved to Sweeps Week, and Oprah/Obama wins!
I see a TV talk show gig in Obama's future - sometime in early 2008.
