What the hell is Alan Keyes doing?
Once I stopped laughing I had to pinch myself. You mean to tell me Alan Keyes is still running for president?

I heard about 10 seconds of him on TV today, and all I heard was "Mike Huckabee claims he is for traditional values and he is not!" What a laugh.

I don't know the background, but I have a funny feeling someone dusted off old Al and told him to take shots at Huckabee to try to bring him down.

For the record, I support Alan Keyes. I used to love his show on MSNBC. Alan Keyes is making sense. Not as a candidate for president, but as a very very clever debater and survivor. His skill lies not in being right, but in being there. He just won't go away. He knows he isn't going to win. But he keeps his head at the trough.

When I grow up, I wanna be Alan friggin Keyes! I want to drone on about my religious views and collect fatter paychecks than Oral Roberts! I want to get invited to participate in presidential debates, even though I am not actually trying to win. I wanna draw an annual salary from my presidential campaign - even in off years - and I want to still have the balls to claim I am living a moral christian life!

2. He wants to be the next Harold Stassen. See? I remember
his name but don't remember the names of many serious candidates.
