The ticket in Nov.: Edwards/Dodd
Dodd is doing yeoman work for the progressive cause and even though he made a kissy face with Imus, it's time we rewarded real action instead of rhetoric.

Go Dodd!

And where is Clinton and Obama? Why aren't they "making headlines" supporting the filibuster IN the Senate chambers, shoulder to shoulder with Dodd?
Could it be the donations to their campaigns from telecoms? Could it be that they ARE part of the establishment getting in the way of real progressive change?

1. General Clark - Secretary of State
Edited on Mon Dec-17-07 02:37 PM by BOSSHOG
I know this won't happen but wouldn't it be sweet - Al Gore as Attorney General.

9. Well, he can't be, so how about Secretary of State.
However, I don't see Clark setting within a 100 yards of an Edwards administration.

10. You
are right. I knew that; must be early dementia. I'm not sure Edwards will be around after March.

11. If Edwards gets it (or Biden)...
Edited on Mon Dec-17-07 02:39 PM by rucky
there will have to be a woman or minority on the ticket. With three in the running now as viable candidates, running 2 white guys again would be an obvious snub to a field of well-qualified minority picks.

14. Edwards/Dodd lose against McCain/Huckleberry......
Edited on Mon Dec-17-07 02:54 PM by FrenchieCat
Two Senators hampered with matching fund limits and no real perceived strength on National Security versus a Southerwestern tough guy perceived moderate with a Southern Intelligent seeming Gomer Pyle type Governor on the ticket, and against all expectations, Democrats lose big time in 2008 in the South, the southwest and purple states like New Mexico, Nevada, Ohio and New Hampshire.

15. Contrary to your biased opinion, the facts are that Edwards is our ONLY candidate who beats McCain:
Here's a chart of how our candidates perform head-to-head against their top candidates:

16. I laugh at all polls, and always have.....except for the ones that are taken
a week prior to any election and each day closer to the vote.

So why don't you tell me why would I vote in a primary based on a poll telling me what is gonna happen a year from now?

By the time the media has done its job deconstructing who they decide to deconstruct, the polls will change mightily. Add to that, current events that no one has control over, and your poll doesn't mean a thing!
