seriously, how is this a win for McCain? I don't think it will have impact at all in terms of more people voting for him.

3. I don't think this will exactly energize the GOP base.
Independent Joe was saying that McCain could "reach across the aisle".

16. nah
i mean the cnuts who support the war, and want more war for freedom.

actually i'll go record as saying, this will not hurt McCain one iota. Joe is beloved on FoxNews and the like. i think Joe threw his chips in with whom he thinks is going to win, and may just give that extra push in some states with the 2 factions i mentioned. and i think he's doing it so he can get more exposure if McCain snags nod.

18. i think that's what he's hoping

7. Lieberman's endorsement is like a piece of toilet paper stuck to your shoe.
Everyone can see it.

Everyone knows where you've been.

And everyone knows where the paper has been.

10. I think it probably helps him among centrist Republicans and Indepedents
who have otherwise drifted away from him. A lot of independents and moderate Republicans are favorably disposed towards Lieberman, even if most Democrats hate his guts.

22. Yeah, and he thought that was a "story" in itself..even though he also admitted he would not support
any of the Dems.

Maybe the story should be "Dems smart enough to know Lieberman is a Republican, don't ask for support"

What a self-centered grease-ball.

But thats about all. The media loves him and were feeling down lately.

23. I think Lieberman just lost his Senate Seat in 2012
After the 2008 elections, Lieberman may also have a lot of extra time on his hands when he does not have a committee or a sub-committee to sit on. Old Joe just does not when to shut his big mouth and a lot of people are now figuring that out, finally!

As for McCain he does not know when shut his mouth either. For most people they will just think these are two people in the same pod.

The real question is, why would old Joke endorse old McCan-not-do, maybe a another chance at being V.P. We could call it the perpetual war ticket.
