I bring this up because I believe that one mark of character is the ability to admit when you have made a mistake. The current resident in the WH does not have the ability or inclination to admit when he has been wrong. This stands out as one of the most telling features of a flawed individual...and dare I say, of a sociopath. No one is perfect...we all make mistakes. The mark of a person who has character is what they do when they have made that inevitable mistake.
My question to you is this:
Does the candidate you support have the ability to admit when he/she has been wrong? Or do they tend to lean away from taking responsibility for fear that it will cast a shadow on their candidacy?
Think about this. I must say that (rightly or wrongly) I do see some candidates that are hesitant to admit when they have made a mistake. We cannot afford to have a person that lacks this ability or the character associated with it.

On edit:
Okay...this isn't necessarily a rhetorical question. Think about your candidate. Think about all of the candidates. There are some who have admitted mistakes. A good example is John Edwards. He was one of the first to admit that his vote giving Bush authorization to go to war was a mistake. I admire him for that. Another person has been Joe Biden, who readily admits when he has made a mistake...as he has done with regard to the Iraqi war authorization. I'm sure that there are others.
Can you tell me about your candidate and his/her ability to show this kind of character?
