The Edwards campaign is telling everyone that it is a three way tie that anyone could win.

Most Edwards supporters seem to feel that way, too.

What's up with folks who aren't particularly Edwards supporters pushing the "Edwards is inevitable" meme?

1. Probably because he has gotten a lot of positive press lately.
Just a guess.

2. Be glad.....
You could have a worse problem for your candidate than non-supporters conceeding that he will win Iowa! :eyes:

4. I'm still waiting for you to explain how it'll be a 3-way tie between Kucinich, Dodd, and Edwards.
It just seems peculiar to claim that the race outcome is "inevitable" when nary a vote has been cast and even the Edwards camp acknowledges it will be hard fought to the end.

7. I'm not sure what 3 way tie you are referring to, but
It is my opinion that Edwards will win Iowa....and that is based on my political observations. I earnestly believe that it would take more than can be mustered for that not to be the case.

Main Entry: in·ev·i·ta·ble
incapable of being avoided or evaded

I personally wished I had the "problem" that those who didn't even support my candidate would conceed that my candidate would be a shoo-in in the first primary. That would be sweet! :)

3. Who knows?
If anyone can untangle the Iowa mystery with something beside wishful thinking or trying to effect other candidates' outcomes I haven't seen them anywhere. There may be things right in front of our eyes or behind the scenes that seal the fate of this election. Prepare to be wise after the smoke has cleared.

There is some intrigue among the GOP to keep our race heated and split for a lot longer and weaken any frontrunner right up to the Convention. Simple, doable. Here, it's a lot crazier.

8. Don't you get it??? It's Obama and Hillary supporters lowerer expectations so when they lose they
can say, "well, we knew we wouldn't win Iowa."

9. The "meme" is an epiphany on the part of
the thread starters who aren't Edwards supporters. They have seen the light. Edwards has a great chance of winning Iowa.
