Senate Passes War Budget!
"All politics is local" certainly rang true last night when 9000 earmarks were sent through and in return Bush got his war money. A small price to pay for happy local voters. So, put your idealism away. Greed outweighs honesty and justice.

I am cynical about politics but I retain this spark of hope: maybe this time the Dems will carry out their mandate. :shrug:
