Poll question: Who Would be the Best VP Candidate?
Because of the ego and charisma thing, I could not see any of the top three getting together... i.e. Clinton, Obama, or Edwards.

While there are better campaigners, strategy-wise, Richardson would top my list at present.

Both Mark Warner and Jim Webb are attractive campaigners, but I don't think they would go this time around. Hillary likes both Bayh and Vilsack...

1. Unless she chooses Obama
Hillary's rumored choices for VP would suck just as hard as she, being the nominee.

(Sorry. No pun, sexism or misogyny intended or implied. She likely even wins the White House but would still suck as President. JMHO)

Obama could go in any of ten directions and still win handily. I'll guess Edwards or Richardson, breaking the GOP's stranglehold on a slew of southern states and sweeping him into the White House. He has to pick someone with gravitas (god I hate that word) so maybe Biden or Dodd figures in -- either man's Senate seat in no danger of being lost to the GOP. My strongest hunch is that he selects an older white guy with lots of experience.

Edwards is a tougher call. I think he must select a woman or a minority, so Obama and Richardson are also on a short list, but he could pick someone whose name isn't being mentioned in vice-presidential speculation, like Kathleen Sebelius (Kansas governor).

2. Sebelius is also interesting, but I don't think she would put anything else into play
She would be an interesting cabinet choice though...

4. I'd like to see Biden win the nomination, as he could pick ANYONE for VP
He doesn't need to bring in someone with perceived experience, like most of the other candidates would. He could pick Obama, Richardson, a female governor like Sebelius of KS, or a western governor like Schweitzer of Montana.

If Clinton or Obama are nominated, they will probably feel the need to pick a white male.
Edwards will need someone with more perceived experience.
