1. Ron Paul
Where is Ron Paul?

Lovely how you excluded the best candidate from the Republican side from a poll.

6. He doesn't have a shot
He only has 3% support among Republicans. I didn't put Tancredo either. Besides, he'd dismantle every social program and basically give states the power to discriminate through their economic policies.

No reason to leave him off the poll.
Discriminate someplace else.

14. Yeah there's a reason
I don't think it's a realistic scenario that he can win. The ones I listed have a realistic chance of winning the Republican nomination and therefore have a realistic chance of getting elected President.

11. Do you know anything about Ron Paul??
This guy would be far, far worse than Bush, except with regards to the war. He wants to eliminate things like the Department of Education, Energy, and the Federal Reserve. Do yourself a favor and actually learn about the candidates.

He's perfect for the uninformed lefty.

13. I know about him very much thank you.
He is the best chance for the future of this country. Tho I also like Obama and his truth. Both are very great.

Leaving him off the poll because you think he will wreck the country means one is no better than the republican tactics of altering statistics.

18. Really? Best chance at what? Eliminating our federal government?
You're either really clueless or you've come to the wrong site.

16. I guess you didn't read my initial response
I agree with what you're saying, but perhaps you should create your own poll if you want to present unrealistic scenarios.

7. Ron Paul would end the war, but screw everything else up so badly...
Edited on Wed Dec-19-07 09:20 AM by IanDB1
... that it would be a cold day in Hell before another Republicker held any office higher than dog catcher.

Besides, I think Ron Paul was great as Frasier's Dad, Martin Crane.

Or was Ron Paul the ex-gay Judge Clark Brown, from Boston Legal? Or Nilva from Star Trek: DS9?

9. probably makes little significant difference
but i chose mittens.

mccain is insane. huckabee is really insane. giuliani is a lying bastard. thompson is plain dumb, its not an act.

mittens isnt tatally stupid, hes not completely a crook, i think he has some small trace of morality left, hes used to dealing with being a mormon, probably not easy in fundie amerika.

15. Guiliani by a nose...
A nose which I would have to hold frequently, I'm sure. He's crooked as the day is long, but I suspect he would be decent on issues like women, gays, and the environment. I would also suspect that he isn't in thrall to the conversative fundamentalist wing of the party.

19. Guiliani..
While I know he's criminal slime, he's at least pro-choice and doesn't harbor sheer hatred for homosexuals.
