when will the Dems primary field start shrinking?
Will we see people drop out after the first caucus? Or will they wait til after super-duper-(who thought of such a stupid name?) Tuesday?

Anyone have ideas?

2. I'm wondering the same thing. I'm in MD and I would like a chance
to vote in a field with several candidates but I don't think I'm part of Super Tuesday. I assume that all of the candidates will hang on until then and that will determine who drops out.

5. SuperTuesday is meaningless too - the primary winner is picked after NH
My candidate dropped before I had a chance to vote in 2004 (I still voted for him though)

7. I think Hillary will be mortaly wounded after Iowa
If she finished 2nd in NH the wheels will really start to wobble.

10. nah. Iowa can't mortally wound her unless she comes in a distant third or
forth, and if she finishes 2nd in NH, as long as it's within 6 or 7 points, she's still OK. If she loses the first four, she's in trouble.

9. My hope is that it happens much later in the game, but
unfortunately, that probably won't be so. The "top-tier" are not my favorites.

13. After NH. Anything lower than a 4th in Iowa or NH and they're doomed.
I'm hoping Richardson can crack the top three in NH.
