Something I don't understand
about Musharraff's government saying al-Quaida was behind Bhutto's assassination. If we're paying Musharraff's government to fight al-Quaida, why would they take out his chief political rival? Is being a woman supposed to be enough justification?

A woman who works, is a leader, speaks out for democracy and secularism, dares to not wear a burka and speak to men she isn't related to?

Yes, to the Taliban and their friends that is more then enough for a death sentence.

2. Actually it's not.
I'm not buying it, as she's been in power there before. It was a hit job by Musharraff's goons. Besides, they're blaming al-Quaida, not the Taliban.

3. They were going to share power
She was going to be elected as Prime Minister to his Presidency. That would have given the government the support of the majority of the people to take on al qaeda. Don't forget there's another politico over there, Sharif. He says he was also working with Bhutto, but I say don't trust anybody. Who knows what happened for sure.
