New Book to expose Sun Myung Moon's war on democracy
It's by John Gorenfeld, the freelance journalist who scooped the DC press corps by reporting on the coronation of Moon and his wife at a ceremony held at the Dirksen Senate Office Building in 2004. The title of the book is Bad Moon Rising: How Reverend Moon Created the Washington Times, Seduced the Religious Right and Built an American Kingdom. It is due out in March. Buying the book is one of the best ways to stick it to Moon and his enablers. I have more about it on my blog devoted to Moon: http://www.realsunmyungmoon.blogspot.com/

2. Oh that looks good
Moon's roll in the right and his seafood empire is a real eye-opener to everyone I talk to about it.

I will be getting this book.

5. His followers have been raping the oceans for decades.
Free labor, free for all, deplete an area and move on.

3. It's about time, dammit!
Some of us have been warning about Moon for years. He's immensely rich off the fortunes of his followers and has his tentacles into most governments around the world. He's involved more deeply with the GOP here, especially through the Bush family, but he's also got his fingers in the Democratic pie.

If the Christians out there are looking for the Antichrist, I suggest they start examining Moon.

8. You're right on about the Democrats
Even though the overwhelming majority of Moon's political funds go to the GOP and the hard right (e.g., $3 billion just for the Washington Times), he's able to get the support of some prominent Democrats by tossing some table scraps to them, such as Charlie Rangel: http://realsunmyungmoon.blogspot.com/2007/11/note-this-blog-post-is-reprinted-from_2260.html

He fulfills all the qualifiers (even if I don't believe in the whole antichrist thing) but Lahaye and the Left behind loonies would rather believe that a fictional liberal version of Dracula (Nicholas Carpathea??) is the AC. Absolute idiocy.

Somehow the idea of a false prophet actually pretending to be....oh I dunno an actual Christain? To these idiots an actual false prophet is an alien concept. Easier to believe that it refers to some crazy new age pagan priest. I mean if it was a new age priest wouldn't the text compare it to the false gods of rome or something? They were very popular in those days.

12. Neo cons ally with cults
is a fascinating symbiosis-money, unquestioning zombies, and fellow vampires to spew hate all work so well.
Moon and other dark cults hide their crimes under the umbrella of "religious freedom'--so sad that they are allowed to reside in the US.
