It's cold and late, but Obama still draws a crowd

DUBUQUE, Iowa – After flying from the Missouri River to the Mississippi River, Sen. Barack Obama arrived here late this evening and was greeted by hundreds, or perhaps as many as 1,000.
"You should all be in bed," said Michelle Obama, who joined her husband about 11 p.m. for his last event on a day where he traveled to three of Iowa's four corners.
"Somebody must not have told you: it's three degrees out," the Illinois Democrat said, providing a slightly different weather report than the one given by his pilot, who announced one degree upon landing here.
"As you can tell, my throat has been worked a little bit," Obama said, taking note of a slightly hoarse voice that has started to set in during the final days of campaigning before Thursday's Iowa caucuses.
Obama spoke for nearly an hour, ending at 11:43 p.m. Central, even as a few headed for the door before he finished.
