2. World citizen first, then U.S. Citizen, then progressive...
I don't consider myself a Democrat (I hate both parties and party politics in general) but I'm for Obama and then Edwards.

I'd seriously consider a good 3rd party candidate as well, especially if they would bring true single payer health care, progressive energy reform, and an end to optional wars of dominance.

3. You might want to add
"neither" as a realistic option.

4. Let's consider it this way - between being a supporter of candidate "X" and a Democrat,
which is more important. I would agree that, for most of us at least, certain things are more important than this election or the party.

6. I support ideals and objectives, not parties....
It makes things considerably easier when party goals are aligned with progressive ideals and objectives, but that is the extent of my party loyalty these days.

7. Neither
I am a progressive. I support progressive candidates. I affiliate with the Democratic Party only because they are more likely to field progressive candidates than the Republican Party.

10. Neither. I am a supporter of:
1. The planet and all her living systems
2. Enlightened people and government everywhere
3. Civil liberties everywhere
4. Social and economic justice
5. PEACE, HUMILITY, AND COOPERATION
6. The candidates who will best move all of the above forward.

The only reason to BE a Democrat, or a member of any group, is to work with others to achieve the above goals.
