Poll question: If Biden is the dark horse tonight...
If Joe Biden somehow has a second or (more likely) third place showing in Iowa will it:

3. I doubt EDWARDS will get much further than Iowa even if he wins--
something tragic would have to happen to at least one of the frontrunners for Joe to even have a chance to move up to third nationally. I'm being realistic. I like Joe, he's my second choice, but I just don't see it for him. He would make a dandy VP, though.

8. LOL...

they all do that I think. I bought my friend a long hair mini Daschund puppy for Xmas, a couple of years ago. Had her flown in from another state, and she was about 18 weeks old, adorable!! Anyway, we call her the pee monger, LOL. She gets so excited when she sees you, she pees. She is really defensive with her cage though. You touch it, she comes after you, and barks like she means it!! Really hysterical.

15. Ah, submissive urination. My wienerdog did that with my husband--
Edited on Thu Jan-03-08 11:45 AM by wienerdoggie
all my husband had to do was look at him sternly, and my dog would roll over and wizz. He's better now, but damn, I got tired of cleaning up those puddles.

19. Border Collies are the same way.
I loved that dog - but he was like a faucet. And a barker, and man did he shed.

RIP Jasper :(

20. It's always the most troublesome dogs that steal your heart, I think--
I also have a Weimaraner who is about the most poorly-behaved animal I've ever seen, and he's cost us many headaches and thousands of dollars over the years--but when he goes, there won't be a dry eye in the house. Your Jasper was equally lucky to have a patient and loving owner!

11. I disagree, WD. If he surprises, he will get more coverage, if only for the "dark
horse" angle. And as often happens, the more people get a chance to hear him, the more their ears perk up and they go "hey, wait a minute -- I like what this guy is saying!".

That's how I see it happening. :hi:

17. Just being able to be in the ABC debate will do him well.
That will garner more support, Joe is always the strongest in debates.

6. The whole second tier thing
pisses me off. money is the criteria for selecting that "top tier" and it is the M$M that made it up. is is a sorry state of affairs when the media makes the decision for you. of course no one in the media will admit they choose based on money because they are the beneficiaries of all that cash

the medias role is to broadcast the positions of the candidates equally! not chose for you...

10. The sad fact of the matter, ,Froward, is the media's role is to show a profit. That's
why this campaign coverage has been so lopsided.

16. If Joe finishes 4th, he should count it as a huge win. If Richardson comes in 4th, Joe's in trouble.

Richardson v Biden has been the other big story that the msm has ignored.

23. I agree that Richardson v Biden is a great story neglected. Only one will be invited to the New
Hampshire debate. Both have excellent foreign policy credentials and long resumes of public service. I think Richardson and Biden have cut into each other's base of support and the elimination of one will help the other.
