BIden Iowa Campaign Director: NO DEALS WITH ANY CAMPAIGN
Biden campaign Iowa State director Danny O’Brien said "there are no discussions underway and there will be no deal with any campaign. We believe Sen. Biden is strong enough on his own."

6. Good for Joe. Even if Kucinich was going to make a deal, doing so publicly days in advance was
suicide. What Iowa supporter of Kucinich is going to go out on such a cold night to support a candidate who essentially threw in the towel two days before the caucus and endorsed a candidate who shares almost none of Kucinich's views?

That was crazy. Biden was wise to eschew that crazy path Kucinich stumbled down.

7. I "hope" it's not too late to get this out to his caucus supporters.
As "hoped" the planted story got lots of play yesterday - will the denials and debunking get heard at all?

12. Link or slink
I'm sick of seeing this meme propagated with no proof. Can you prove it? Prove Obama is spreading false rumors. Go ahead.

Biden supporters, I want you to please keep an open mind. If this was a dirty trick, it could have come from anywhere. It's the sort of thing that goes on in Iowa. A rival campaign could have an interest in alienating Biden and Richardson supporters from Obama. I don't know that this happened, but I also don't know that Obama's campaign was the source of these rumors. Iowa is a big old rumor mill today. And we don't even know what is being passed around in New Hampshire. Fun and games.

11. Really? It was a planted story?
that makes me so mad!

It just didn't make sense to me coming from Richardson who has a chance to come in strong tonite.
I caught one of his events on C-Span over the weekend. Omg - the crowd LOVED him.

13. He doesn't know that, he is just saying it
Please, pirhana. Unless there is proof, don't believe a word anyone is saying today. It could have started anywhere with any one of the campaigns.

14. According to the original source: "Off-the-bus spoke with a national Obama staffer who confirmed"
Edited on Thu Jan-03-08 03:15 PM by MethuenProgressive
But since I didn't witness the plant in person and catch it on tape, ObamaNation will say "you have no proof!" Yesterday, with the very same proof, they were dancing in the streets - until Biden and Richardson denied it today. Hypocrites.

10. I wish that...
I wish that Bill Richardson and Christopher Dodd would form an agreement with Biden and endorse him in exchange for key positions on his cabinet -- I get the feeling that those three, who incidentally are the three best candidates in my opinion, are all sharing the same kind of voters making it less likely that any single one of them will succeed.
