Richardson is lying, he is supporting Obama
Richardson has been lying this whole campaign. He was for the war in 2005. Not kidding. Totally kissy kissy with Bush then. Now suddenly he's Mr. Progressive. Totally a fake and a liar.

1. Somehow I think your "scorched earth" approach is not working.
Perhaps you should step away from the computer for a while — a long while.

He only changed after he did some early campaigning in Iowa and New Hampshire and realized it wouldn't work.

27. His funding votes match people like Kennedy and Kerry
He is not against universal healthcare - the difference in his plan is that he does not mandate buying insurance. He does insist insurance be available to all.

His Senate record is more liberal than HRC's (at the same time) and Edwards was to the right of HRC (at the same time)

Therefore using transitivity - Obama is more liberal than Edwards. Edwards now is pandering to the left.

14. cnbc is reporting that Richardson is doing a deal with Obama.
They've reported this several times in the last few hours. If it wasn't true, wouldn't he (or his campaign person) get on and say NO, it's not true?

21. Well, since Richardson was in the Clinton cabinet and the DLC....
Maybe the one thing he IS sure of, is who absolutely should NOT be president. And his strategy is to cut a deal with Obama if that prevents such an occurrence?

If I had to vote for an ex-DLC'er though, Richardson has the better resume, qualifications, and the history of the last 40 years on his side, as a sitting governor. Senators don't win elections, and whether it's Edwards or Obama who emerges as the nominee, they're not going to do well against a 'Puke governor.

And the DLC knows that as well as I do. I happen to believe they don't give a shit.

33. 40 years isn't a good enough sample...
Parties tend to nominate the worst senators. Goldwater, McGovern, and Dole simply didn't have what it takes, not much to do with the fact that they were Senators. Kerry could've won and came pretty damn close. Bobby Kennedy and Gary Hart could have won but they were never nominated.

28. Per one article in places where Richardson is near viable,
if there are "extra" Obama delegates insufficient to get another delegate - they will shift to Richardson to make him viable. (It could happen in some precincts)

20. Has anyone from the Richardson camp
confirmed or even smiled about it? They are reporting rumors, nothing else. Richardson's camp has denied this several times today. Maybe they don't like wasting their time if nobody is going to believe the denials.
