A little perspective. The pundit class for months and months has been telling us this is a 2 person race. Well, it isn't, and they were/are wrong. Coming in second or even a breath close third should be considered a victory for Edwards.

Now, let's continue to make them even wronger.

1. Here here!
I thought he made a strong finish. Now if only the media would take notice.

Remember, Iowa isn't everything. Far from it. He beat Hillary with a mere fraction of the resources. That's good.

4. Edwards had a fantactic showing considering the media sales
job of Obama. Now, let's spread the word about Edwards' anti-corporate Washington stance and point out who is funding Obama.

5. I agree. Didn't he get outspent by something like 5 to 1? Considering that, he's doing amazing &
will be in for the long haul, I would think.

6. The Race Is Still WIDE Open
Anything can happen. It was a great victory for Obama, but it's still anyone's race at this point. This scenario is actually the one that makes it more clear than ever that this race is up for the taking for any one of the three front runners.

11. Exactly - the media has been pushing the Obama vs. Clinton match up
down our throats. They were even doing it tonight when JE was ahead - his name was never mentioned. As Cary Grant said to Katherine Hepburn in "Holiday" - "its a conspiracy, child."

13. I think that is one of the biggest overlooked stories of this.
He is in 2nd place, in front of the "inevitable" candidate. I see this as an enormous victory for Edwards.

15. Edwards if given the nomination
will be a no brainer walk away winner. The MSM doesn't want that they want a fight, a knock down drag out screeming catfight. That's what sells ads and brings in viewers. Hillary might as well quit now. The big news is Edwards. Obama wont survive southern states That's all I can tell you.

16. Absolutely.. quite an Iowa finish for Edwards. And look at it this way..

It's like they didn't even ask about other candidates. Edwards did very well tonight.
