Wetzelbill "pleased" at "exceeding expectations" in Iowa.....
First of all, I would like to congratulate Barack Obama on his win. I would like to stress that this race is far from over. My running mate Kurovski and I have been, well, we haven't been on the campaign trail at all, but still, we fully expect to win the nomination. Mostly because we control the voting machines. But that is not relevant.

Tonight, we saw something important. And I have to agree that Obama is impressive. But there is still lots of work to do, and the race is just getting started. Tomorrow, I will wake up around noon, and not head on to New Hampshire where I fully expect to receive no votes there either. Now one would think that because I garnered no votes at all in Iowa, that it is just spin when I say I exceeded expectations. But this is not true. My insider polling data actually put me within the margin of error where it was possible that I could actually have gotten -5 percent of support in Iowa. So with all things being considered, my zero percent tally is quite a strong showing. Anywhere from 2-5 points stronger than expected.

With that I expect to take the momentum I do not have onto New Hampshire and South Carolina.

Once again, the Wetzelbill/Kurovski campaign would like to congratulate Barack Obama. This is a night for all of America!

(except for Carrot Top... there is no honor in what he does)

I'm expecting at least 400 GP votes. Then again, I also expected to win the Iowa Caucus too.

Pending Kurovski's approval. I am really just an empty suit.

Good ol' CB. It never gets old to call my parents and talk about how "cold" Tucson gets in the winter, haha.

11. Yes, my mighty liege, it is indeed a night for all of America.
When Senator Hillary Clinton said to turn votes for her over to the Wetzelbill/Kurovski campaign, well, you could have knocked me over with a hanging chad.

I was in fact knocked over with a pitchfork by one enthusiastic caucus-goer. There ain't NOTHIN' half-way about the Iowa way to greet you, when they greet you--which they may not do at all. But that guy did. And that was just fine by me.

(Personally, I think Mrs. Clinton is angling to be The First Lady for at least one more month, my glorious President Wetzelbill. ;-) )

Congratulations to Senator Obama, and he may as well enjoy it while he can, may the lord Jesus bless him always. The Wetzelbill carbon-neutral rocket ship to success is clearly blazing a path of freedom over purple mountain's majesty, and amber waves of grain straight to the White House!

If any of you doubt that, well, once we're in office, our health care plan will help you to explore why you're so delusional. And then we will medicate you until you understand.

13. I can only repeat the headline of an OP now on the greatest page...
"What a remarkable Wetzelbill speech".

And also, Carrot Top buffed-up pretty good, which I believe deserves some recognition.

Why alienate the Carrot top fans? I'm sure some of them vote.

22. Wetzelbill is the real winner tonight
He was outspent by 8 million to 0 dollars and still came within 37.58% of Obama, while falling just 0.02% behind Dodd and tying Kucinich and Gravel. What an amazing accomplishment.

27. Those numbers don't lie!
Even the naysayers will benefit from a Wetzelbill presidency, Chattering fools though they may be.

Pity has transformed to joy on this most glorious of all nights that ever were in the vast universe of all that was ever touched by glory in the past, but now explodes in a bewildering, giddy confusion of glory beyond even that. And so forth.

33. While we are certain to be the next rulers of our great Oceania,
I blame the hate-loving, anti-gay voters for this temporary set-back, because that is the way it is. No arguing it, Unless of course you hate the gays, then go right ahead and reveal your hate by denying the ultimate success of President Wetzelbill. It will be fun to condemn you for your hate.

Nothing will stop the truth.

Nothing will stop an idea whose time has come, even though an "idea" is not a "person", let alone "gay".
