Clinton Camp Statement on Obama Iowa Win. "This race begins tonight..."
Clinton Camp Statement on Obama Iowa Win
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
January 3, 2008

Statement from Patti Solis Doyle, Clinton Campaign Manager:

“Congratulations to Senator Obama and his campaign on their victory tonight. It’s been a hard fought race here in Iowa for the last year and all eyes now turn to New Hampshire.

Hillary is going to continue making the case that in these serious times when America faces big challenges, it will take a leader with the strength and experience to deliver real change.

This race begins tonight and ends when Democrats throughout America have their say. Our campaign was built for a marathon and we have the resources to run a national race in the weeks ahead. “

2. Yes the race begins, but without her. She didn't even get the female vote.
I'm a woman, and I wouldn't vote for her. She polarizing and a corporatist. Just more of the same.

12. That is just ludicrous
He created a pork watching web site to track corporate contracts because he's the corporate candidate. He wants to put the entire budget online because he's the corporate candidate. He joined with Feingold on ethics reforms because he's the corporate candidate. He ended politicians keeping contributions in Illinois because he's the corporate candidate.

Would you stop listening to the propagandists and start looking at his record.

8. I will support HRC till the last dog dies and that will not be until
Edited on Thu Jan-03-08 11:11 PM by BenDavid
all 50 states have had their say. I look at history as an indicator and I do take into account the obama factor as the first black to reach this height, and HRC wins N.H.. Iowa will be lost as a memory. Now where does obama go? Then it is on to Michigan and HRC will win and then S.C. This state will be a toss up. Then comes Florida and HRC will do well there... and then it's on to Super Tuesday. Of the 19 states I will allow obama Illinois and one other but 17 will be won by HRC.

So the race is not over and I do congratulate Obama for his win. Very good organization and very good move to go after the college age folks. Very smart move......So now let the true race begin....

A little history to take into account: Bill did not win his first state till Georgia...

February 10: Iowa
February 18: New Hampshire
February 25: South Dakota
March 3: Colorado, Georgia, Maryland; also Minnesota, Idaho caucuses Georgia to Clinton—race still seems up in the air at this early stage]

15. Why would he withdraw? He came in 2nd, and was outspent 6:1
I'm an Obama supporter, but I think HC is in for a run by Edwards & Obama both.
