Eugene Robinson of the Wash. Post said Obama's movement and message reminds him that of RFK.

9. Yea, it's a shame. I should theoretically be so elated
that a minority is one step closer to becoming President of the United States.

And I feel somber.

What a shame.

14. You'd think being thrown under the bus so many times
would perhaps make a person emotionally stronger.

But maybe that's a ridiculous expectation.

I don't know.

12. My hope is that
this all gets worked out one day but I know it doesn't look good. I can still want it, though.

3. I just saw it DU's political videos
..it was Brilliant. I was wondering if anyone would consider voting for Obama just so they could hear our president speak like that for the ensuing 4 years?:P Talk about your "Change"!

4. I watched it earlier
And wasn’t impressed at all. I doubt watching it a second time would change anything.

6. Gave me chills again
I don't know what's wrong with people who are so bitter they can't be moved by that.

7. It was an incredible speech, and RFK did flash in my mind.
My mom joined the Mormon church when I was 3 or 4, and I've heard enough flowery speeches and meaningless pontifications full of utter bullshit to last 3 lifetimes. Most speeches don't impress me. Obama's speech tonight did impress me, mostly because of the manner in which he delivered it.
