Poll question: Would America be receptive to a 100% black, dark-skinned candidate?
As you may have heard, Barack Obama won Iowa today. He's light skin and half white. He might win the Democratic nomination. The media loves him.

Would America be as receptive to a dark-skinned 100% African American if this hypothetical candidate had the same qualities posessed by Barack??

8. No. Much of America is still very racist, especially in the privacy of a polling booth.
Maybe not Democratic Primary voters, but in a general election, heck, we haven't even had a nominee who is Jewish or a white woman. And Republicans are very, very good at playing the race card.

10. At first, I did want Hillary because she was a woman...I know, stupid idea
Obama was my second choice, but in the past few months, I changed my mind to Obama. He's the BEST candidate for the job.

12. black is black. what a dumb question posted.
this is not what people need... particularly since Obama isn't campaigning as black, or biracial, or exotic, or half-white -- he's campaigning as an American who wants to help America out of the past 7 years, 8 years of b.s.
