1. Hehehe---this is serious but you have to laugh---I will bet you
the Establishment in both parties are reeling.

Think about it.

This is a good thing in the long run. Too many have permitted
themselves to live inside the DC Bubble conversing only with
people like themselves and totally disconnected from the country.
This includes the Media. They know what is good for the country.

The country is starting to show them. Hehehehhee

2. Anyone who still believes reTHUG shit is an idiot.
They have nothing.

No ideas, no hope for people, no future.

They have only moronic christianist literalism, wars of dominion, and short-sighted selfishness.

They either wake up and join the real world, or they wither and die out like the "old school" that they are.

We won't kill them like they have wanted to kill us.

They may take a place at our table on fair and equal (not dominant!) terms -- or languish until they die out.

They are yesterday.

3. Well, that was succinct and well put.
'They may take a place at our table' That's the difference right there.

6. Thank Starhawk for that line.
Paraphrased with intact intent from her book, The Fifth Sacred Thing -- one of my all-time favorites. :)

That's the difference between truly democratic and free people -- and the authoritarian, reTHUG types.

8. Great book!
I love that book. It was hard to read in places, though, since I live in such a terrifyingly conservative part of the country, I could easily see myself winding up in fucking Angel City all too easily.

9. I hear you.
No matter how dark things get and how down I have felt, though, that book has both terrified and encouraged me.

I choose the encouragement right now.

13. The amoral Pubs have to "Think" why they having a diff time of it? OMG..they have no clue, otherwise
They would admit past errors in backing Bush...and grovel while asking Forgiveness from The Peeps....

They refuse to acknowledge past errors....

That is one of their downfalls
