I called an Obama/Huckabee matchup a year ago, when Obama first cast his hat in the ring, and Huckabee was polling at, like, negative five percent:

9. Yes... I don't see Huckabee being able to raise $$$

and beyond his prosletyzing and more comprehensive view of the role of Christianity (including tax policy vis-a-vis the poor), he also suffers a similar truth with the Big Dog that had the RW aristocracy going nuts. And, that is that he is "low caste" rather than the blue blood they so worship.
