Could Rove himself be a worse "debate" moderator than Charlie Gibson?

Anyone else notice that the GOP debate consisted of candidates arguing among themselves, whereas the Democratic "debate" consisted of Charlie Gibson stating a series of Republican talking points, buttressed by what appeared to be a Frank Luntz produced GOP propaganda ad, finally culminating, not by debate between Democratic candidates, but by a series of attacks on each Democrat by GOP propagandist "moderator" Gibson?

Is Gibson angling for a job change to Fox "News"?

5. I turned it off after Charlie said the surge is successful
and stated that was fact. When I was a kid we'd say chuck you farley at this point.

6. Gibson has tried his best to make this good debate not be a great debate
There were many times the candidates were mixing it up and he just shut them up. He's also asked some random attack questions. The audience just laughed at his lies.

9. Gibson just suggested that a family headed by 2 college
professors would have a combined annual income of over $200,000. This drew laughs from the audience and shows how out of touch with reality the chattering class is. That said, I thought the debate has been pretty good. I am solidly for Obama and thought he did a great job. But Clinton and Edwards were great as well.
