I am proud to be a Democrat right now.

I watched both the Republican and Democratic debates and what I saw was a contrast in styles. The Republican debate was nothing but loud-mouthed men foaming at the mouth, edging their seats at a chance to attack their opponent. And while the Democratic debate was not free of insult and petty politics at times, it can't compare to the level of hate espoused from the Republicans tonight.

I'm not a Hillary supporter, an Edwards supporter, or a Richardson supporter, but for the most part, they all treated each other with class and respect. I can't say the same for the Republican candidates.

But in al earnest. You're right. There were two debates tonight, and two very different groups of people. The first were sniping vultures and the second were a classy lot with sincere differences. The level of discourse was obvious.
