4. Frank Luntz on caucus night.
I posted this before but here is a photo I took of him eating one of the cookies I brought to my caucus. He asked if he could have one and I told him he could but only because he had a couple of Edwards favorable focus group reports recently.

He also went on to say something about how he is now focusing on the truth or something like that. I wish I had his exact words but he made it sound like he is working for someone different now. Is anyone aware of what might have changed? I was so busy at the caucus that I couldn't take everything he said in. He told me he really wanted Edwards to win because it would prove him right. He was actually very nice.

14. A few years back Luntz started a career as a cable TV pundit
People objected because Luntz is a GOP hit man. Luntz swore he dropped all connections with the GOP and would be a neutral analyst. Turned out Luntz was working for the GOP the whole time. 2008 is here and Luntz is playing the same game. He acts like an independent expert but its all a GOP hit job.

I watched a film of a recent symposium by George Soros. Luntz went after Hillary on a number of matters, but said she'd be our next president. He did praise Edwards, both for his body language, the simplicity of his message and for his skill at reading audiences.

Whatever else, he has great taste in cookies. They look delish.

9. Talk about real fear
Where was Edwards in that question???? Why so anxious to marginalize him?

Anyone who watched the debate knows why. HE TALKS THE TALK AND WALKS THE WALK.

The others are window dressing taking CORPORATE money for a maintenance of staus quo.

We can no longer afford satus quo. I don't want a peace-maker to reach over to Republican -lites who still got Bush elected twice.

I want someone who will BATTLE and PUMMEL them into non-existence.

15. I noticed the people who liked Hillary were given almost no
chance to express their views. Luntz continued to set up attacks on Hillary.

I watched the debate on a screen that gaged audience reaction. With Democrats, Hillary did about as well as the others. Independents liked the other candidates but averaged neutral feelings toward Hillary. I didn't see any hostile reaction like Luntz produced. I wonder what was going on with that group before they started filming.

The audience participants attacked Hillary with vague notions. That's a good sign they were manipulated.

20. "She IS the establishment..."
That's gonna leave a mark. She's toast in New Hampshire.

But she's still 20 points ahead in national polls.

What will two back-to-back losses do to her national standing?

21.  They see Hillary as the "Establishment" so no matter how much she says "change"
it won't stick. When she talks about change it's not the right kind of change. What Obama has tapped into is the desire for someone to clean house and furnish it with new furniture nut just re-arrange the old furniture.

This is just the wrong year for Hillary. She can't win no matter what her message is. You can't follow a disaster like Bush with another Washington insider.

She's another member of the ruling class taking a shot at power. She's part of everything that's wrong with this country.
