THE BEST QUOTE OF THE NIGHT
whoever wins the Dem nomination. Should continue to use this quote on the Republicans. I mean it should be the slogan.

"Any time you speak out powerfully for change, the forces of status quo attack." -John Edwards

16. As of recent history
I've not seen another candidate that "stole" others' words like johnnyboy.

I guess he learned his status quo stance during his run for president in 2004 din't go over so well.

No wonder Dennis wasn't allowed at the debates. He was going after the status quo years years before johnnyboy ran for the senate.

johnnyboy, thy name is poseur.

8. Hey if you have a cellphone with cheap long distance, Edwards
is asking for volunteers to make phone calls for him from now to election day New Hampshire, you can make the phone calls from your home in any state.

Can any of you help?

14. That was a great line. Second greatest line had to go to Richardson though.
"I've been in hostage negotiations that went easier than this....." - in reference to the "heated" portion of the debate.

It's really too bad Richardson couldn't articulate his political positions as well as his one-liners.

20. Didn't edwards say basically the same things in 04 and lost
to Kerry and then kerry decided to place him on the ticket and they both lost? What is different about edwards this time that you would want the american people to buy his message?

All I saw tonight were two desparate men trying to double team hrc and it did not work. She scored points over them and that my friends is having "court savy"....

23. You know full well those elections were stolen. Are you as confident
as you sound that this one will be? I think you're blinded by Zionism, and it's no good accusing me of anti-Semitism, because I'm a Zionist, too. But not via Nazism.

See who wins. If Hill were to win, you can guarantee, unbeknown to her, there would have been major skull-duggery again. I think she's being dropped by the Repugs in favour of Obama, as he now represents their best hope. Well see.

21. The best part was when the camera switched to Clinton
just as Edwards said, "forces of status quo"

They couldn't have timed it any better had they tried.

http://www.correntewire.com/anyone_watch_the_dem_debate

“…these entrenched, moneyed interests that have a stranglehold on the middle class, that are doing — incredibly destructive to American jobs and health care system, energy, all taxes, trade, they’re in everything. Absolutely everything. You cannot nice these people to death. It doesn’t work. I have been in the trenches fighting them for my whole adult life.” -- John Edwards
