Smooth MOVE, Romney...use your debate time to criticize Huckabee AGAIN for calling Bush "arrogant"

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney clashed with Mike Huckabee on foreign policy and John McCain on immigration Saturday night in a high-stakes presidential campaign debate three days before the New Hampshire primary.

"It's not amnesty," McCain shot back after Romney criticized his plan for overhauling the immigration system. "You can spend your whole fortune on these attacks ads, my friend, but it's not true."

Earlier, Romney criticized Huckabee for having written that the Bush administration was guilty of an "arrogant bunker mentality" on foreign policy. "Did you read the article before you commented on it," asked Huckabee, the former Arkansas governor.

"I read the article, the whole article," shot back Romney.

3. I tuned in just as Romney was saying, "Our president is not arrogrant and does not have a bunker
mentality," then went on to say what a great job Bush has done to keep us safe for the past 6 years.

I simply couldn't believe my ears. Anyone else think they were in a timewarp?

4. Not a time-warp so much as
each of them promising that "their" Presidency would be the indistinguishable from a third term for *.

It was horrible.

6. A Billy Idol song sums up Romney pretty well:
You've got no human grace, such a human waste, you're eyes without a face.

7. it's all relative, Mittens...
Compared to a priggish uptight WASP like Romney, Bush IS less arrogant. But that's like saying the eight circle of Hell is less hot than the ninth.
