1. Wow, when you factor in his debate performance, Edwards may actually have a shot at second place

This thing really could turn into a change vs. change race before it's over.

6. the potential problem i see for Obama is going into state that only vote democrat he....
might be slightly STILL behind Clinton. i haven't seen any polling in other state so far but he needs to get the support mainly from dems. NH and Iowa has independents that can vote in the primary the other states do not.

22. It depends on how many people voted and how representative it is of the population in NH.
In other words, if lots of out of state obama supporters voted, then it's completely assinine.

19. THAT IS NOT A POLL
Edited on Sun Jan-06-08 04:51 PM by Tom Rinaldo
Were you being intentionally misleading with your Subject Header?:

"2008 New Hampshire Ultimate Ballot Challenge

Predict the outcome the Democratic and Republican presidential preference primary races in New Hampshire at 2008 New Hampshire Ultimate Ballot Challenge...."

"2008 New Hampshire Primary Ultimate Ballot Challenge

On to New Hampshire!

"The 2008 New Hampshire Ultimate Ballot Challenge allows you to predict the outcome of the Democratic and Republican presidential preference primaries on January 8.

Here are the rules:

1. The 2008 New Hampshire Caucus Ultimate Ballot Challenge is not the place to express your preference for president. Instead, it is a place to display your skills at predicting the outcome of both primaries in New Hampshire. Identical entries that flood the site will be automatically discarded...

...5. We ask for your valid e-mail address only as a means of contacting the winner. Your e-mail address will not be disclosed to anyone and all e-mail addresses will be deleted when the winner is contacted. No valid e-mail address, no valid entry.

6. If you change your mind, you may submit a new entry, but your final entry will be the only entry that is counted in the challenge."

21. I think you're confused.
This is a predictor site, no where do they say they did actual sampling of the populations.

See that part where it says For details, click on the R or D for each state in the column on the left under 2008 Presidential Polls. Let's click that, rather than just assuming that no further information exists.

About this Survey -

Survey Sponsor: American Research Group, Inc.

The American Research Group has been conducting surveys of voters since 1985.

Sample Size: 600 completed telephone interviews among a random sample of likely Democratic primary voters living in New Hampshire (377 Democrats and 223 undeclared (independent) voters).

Sample Dates: January 4-5, 2008

Margin of Error: ± 4 percentage points, 95% of the time, on questions where opinion is evenly split.

Question Wording:

If the 2008 Democratic presidential preference primary were being held today between (names rotated) Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, Mike Gravel, Dennis Kucinich, Barack Obama, and Bill Richardson, for whom would you vote?

Would you say that you definitely plan to vote in the 2008 Democratic presidential primary, that you might vote in the 2008 Democratic presidential primary, or that you will probably not vote in the 2008 Democratic presidential primary?

Both you and the poster to whom I was replying got confused and thought an ad was the introduction.

Sorry if I was a bit caustic to that other guy, but it's frustrating when people tell you you're wrong when they obviously haven't bothered to read through the page.

Without knowing what page this link is a subset of I honestly am not sure what results are being displayed there. It could be me being confused, or not.
