He's got a shitload of money now too! I think he's going to be a PITA for whichever candidates make it to the General Election

* Except Kucinich (and I suppose I should add Gravel before someone bitches at me, in fact please feel free to include whatever minor figure in the party you need to in order not to be greivously offended by my oversight), but then again he doesn't get to speak on these shows, doesn't have $20,000,000 dollars, and somehow gets less support for saying such things among our party than Paul is able to gather from his collection of kooks, all of which turn him into a footnote added to please some people.

1. "our people"?
Dennis says the same thing AND he's not a complete right-wing nutcase on every other issue

2. And so does Gravel. It's why they are excluded from the debates, silly.

4. That begs the question of why the Republicans allow him at their debates when we won't let Gravel...
and Kucinich.

3. I heard him say all that too...

...and am glad someone who's getting national exposure is saying it - even if he is a loon otherwise.

5. Like what? That's it's a misbegotten
war on Iraq started by politicians with either their heads up their ass and/or fueled by political ambition?

8. That terrorist attacks on 9/11 had their motivation in previous US foreign policy
That they don't hate us for our freedoms

10. This is very common knowledge. Any one of a dozen PBS
Frontline programs have explained this as well as Dennis Kucinich over & over
for years.

14.  American Israel Public Affairs Committee? That's an organization, not an event
I want links to them criticizing the war.

15. You won't. They can't.
Edited on Sun Jan-06-08 12:49 PM by The_Casual_Observer
Not if they actually want the big office. You'll never hear it. The issue immediately brings up the word Israel & that's the end of the discussion right there. Paul doesn't care, because paul is a nobody. Dennis doesn't care either, however, expect a well funded campaign to oust him next time as payback.

6. But then he turns right around & wants to cancel Medicare.
Edited on Sun Jan-06-08 12:25 PM by The_Casual_Observer
His Iraq policy is based on on isolationism & tax money. The guy is a nut with an agenda that you probably won't like once you get past his war thing.

His appeal is to anarchist leaning youth & other nitwits, however, there is a total absence of liberal ideas in his plans. The liberal part of it is read into it or imagined by his followers. He's pretty much a misunderstood run of the mill libertarian dreamer.

7. It will be funny if he gets some delegates and the republicans are undecided at convention.
He'll be their worst nightmare.

9. The Establishment in both parties had better wake up.
Ron Paul, Edwards and Obama are running against the war and look
who is bringing in the Crowds and voters. Oh Yes, Hkuckabee is
not with Gop Establishment.

16. Yeah, Huckabee used the phrase "arrogant buker mentality" to describe
U.S. foreign policy, so it's not out of place to include him in your above-mentioned group as well. Of course, he tried to spin his way around it last night when called on it, but his use of that expression certainly suggested that we fucked up in Iraq!
