Why does Edwards emphasize "Washington" lobbyists?
How much has he taken from non-"Washigton" lobbyists?

1. Edwards is on point
"Washington" lobbyists are a big part of the problem. JFK wanted to stop the lobbyist influence in his administration and was pissed at the influence that lobbyist had on politicians.

It's asking. And yes, I agree that Edwards is dodging truth with the Rovian tactic of qualifying his claims while framing them as attacks.

Bush did that, too. Both Obama and Edwards are doing it now.

"Change the ways of Washington," "Washington lobbyists," "How Washington does business," etc...

Adding "lobbyists" sounds even more sinister.
