NPR bastards
Just caught the hot political stories at the start of National Pentagon Radio's "All Things Considered."
Romney. Huckabee. Obama. Clinton.
That's all.

1. I thought it was "National Petroleum Radio"?
Oh well, your version works too.

And that does suck.

4. That's part of the trouble with promoting a populist message.
Edited on Sun Jan-06-08 05:20 PM by The_Casual_Observer
NPR is about as far distant from populism than you could go. Nobody employed by that thing has ever actually worked at a real job a single day in their lives. They are sons & daughters of weathy & otherwise connected business & political figures across the board.

5. They did the same thing to Wes Clark last time around.
I'll never forgive them.

6. I cringe sometimes listening to NPR
sometimes their stuff is thoughtful, useful and well presented. Other times(especially about "terrorism") you couldn't get more pure propaganda if you went to the WH for a press conference with Condi speaking.

*shudder*

7. I got pissed off at the Moyers show a week or so ago
I've blissfully forgotten who the guest was, but he was unloading a pile of total tommyrot and Moyers was letting him get away with it completely.

It was either put my foot through the screen or find a movie. I did the latter.

I guess even good guys like Moyers have off days.
