edward v obama appealing to repubs and independant, which candidate would repub vote for
Edited on Sun Jan-06-08 05:40 PM by fenriswolf
i was just thinking that their are many pros and cons to my two fav candidates and wanted to discuss which candidate would most appeal to repubs. I mean we wanna win in a sweep right? so between the two which one would repubs vote for i'm going to list pros and cons for both canidates. i'm talking at first glance not in depth because i am sure we are assuming the majority of people voting will be voting on a first glance basis.

edwards: pro
southern accent, rich white male
con: nancy boy(ie not manly enough), frivolous (hair cut)

obama: pro:?

con: race, religion

*note* i did not include hillary because i did not want to, i only listed the things i could think of if i missed anything please post it. if you disagree with me please discuss it. I am looking for the person most electable (in our minds) to the gop base.

4. Edwards won voters who described themselves as "conservative" in Iowa
Obama won everyone else according to CNN exit polls.

6. They wouldn't vote for either, IMO. Edwards would turn them off with his talk
about the rich vs. the poor and they wouldn't trust Obama because of their racist crap which seems to occupy so much of their brains they can't think.

Wouldn't happen. Hillary, maybe but it's a weak maybe...uppity woman you know...

7. I doubt very many republicans would vote for either. Certainly they would
never vote for Obama.
