You know about Reagan Democrats? Welcome to
Obama Republicans. It will happen. It's in my mind that if Obama does become the eventual nominee, we have enough people so tired of the political game playing and divisions perpetrated especially by Bush/Rove/Cheney that they will ignore any full scale attacks launched at Obama by the smear machines. He will be teflon and he will continue to inspire a range of generations.

The apostate baby boomers who rejected idealism of the 60's for Greed is Good 80's will find redemption in this candidate. the Gen X'ers will feel this guy isn't throwing lines of B.S. He is genuine and someone they can devote some time to. and Gen Y kids will see him as a modern candidate who is equipped to handle this light speed age with aplomb. Heck, even folks from the GREATEST GENERATION who remember the New Deal are ready for someone who will help American come together to face BIG BIG challenges of our day.

FIGHT AND DEFEAT GLOBAL WARMING THREAT

REBUILD OUR GREATNESS IN TECHNOLOGY AND EDUCATION

REBUILD OUR STANDING AND RELATIONSHIPS IN THE WORLD

ISOLATE EXTREMISTS OF ALL STRIPES CHRISTOFACISTS AND ISLAMISTS

Obama can do this with OUR help.

2. you shall see. Let's see if he wins the nomination first
but I could see him winning South Carolina or Virginia, FLorida, Arizona, etc....all the states that have been going Republican recently.

Think of the African AMerican vote. Think of the moderate Republicans who think their party abandoned them. Think of the many who want out of Iraq tragedy. Think of the Latino vote. Are they voting Republican in numbers? Uhhh, I don't think so.

Obama doesn't have the high negatives of Edwards or Hillary and could simply ROLL through the country against any one of the GOP contenders.

3. Sorry, I hate to tell you this but your guy just plain looks weak
No soul, no dynamics, no nothing. At the debates he just looks lost. Not my idea of a President. Add to that the fact that I have no idea where he stands on anything and I give you another flash in the pan.
