Has Hillary asked Independents and Republicans for their support?
Obama is said to be doing well with all parties. I think part of that reason is that he's asked for everyone's support. Has Hillary asked Independents and Republicans to support her? You won't get a vote you don't ask for.

1. I don't think so--she's promised to "turn up the heat" on them. Funny, that seems
to be driving them away...

3. How appealing. Trolling for Republican votes in a Democratic primary.
Trying to make this a one-party country? Wasn't that Rove's plan?

8. No, rove's plan is divide, concur and kill. But more and more HRCs plans seem to mock him. TERRA!

4. She will focus on states with closed primaries going forward
so apparently she had no intention of reaching out to independents or republicans, though presumably she would do so in the general election (a little bit of sarcasm there). The source was Politico, which appears to be reviled, but it claimed to be sourced to campaign officials.

6. Only half are closed
And she probably won't win all of those. That's a bad strategery.

9. She already leads in Delagates---the states which are closed
have large numbers of Delegates. If she did not believe she
has a chance with Democrats, she would not make the effort.

Please do not use the word Change. AS long as our Candidates
continue to be beholden to the Republicans---No change in DX.

Right now everytime there is a serious vote in the Senate, the
Blue Dogs and DLC always have a few members who vote with
their Republican Consituents over their Democratic Consituents.

I am only saying do not expect great change or you will be
terribly disappointed. No, I am not saying we would be the
the same with a Dem or Repub President. Just saying do not
expect great shakes.

10. That's a soft lead
It's superdelegates. They'll go whicher way the race is going. You'll probably start seeing them bail out while other join Obama.

7. Why not...they turned out for Obama in Iowa
but....they can't cross over in NH. So they both wont' get their support.

12. She had a line about "Republicans who have seen the light" in her Iowa caucus-night speech
which was a fine bit of condescension on her part.

Make 'em feel stupid, Hill, that'll work.

And they wonder why her unfavorables sit near 50%.
