You know, what Sam Nunn and his buddies have been discussing if we don't all become bipartisan. Sorry if I've missed earlier discussions.

What say you, DU?

1. But we're going to become centrist.
Hope. Change. Blah blah blah.

3. Watch out.
You are about to get called Un-American, un-Democratic, and a troll. I would suggest putting a raincoat on.

7. Given today's stance,
we'd have to move to the left to become centrist.

8. If the third party candidate takes more votes from the Repugs, more power to them.
I think I remember reading that a Bloomberg candidacy would actually hurt them more than it would hurt us. But I don't quite understand the point of another "centrist" running; the D and the R usually try as hard as they can to appear to be centrists in the general election as is.

12. they seem to have a cramp with Edwards.
I'm told below that a JE nomination would guarantee Dem centrist support for an independent.

13. no one else wants to play? isn't this "splinterism"?
Seven years of conservative apoplexy over Nader, and we're not going to discuss the "centrist" apostasy?

Pity.

15. Well, I was verbally destroyed and attacked yesterday....
I made a statement that if Obama was the nominee AND if Bloomberg ran as an Independent, I would vote for Bloomberg. Never mind that a majority of the Obama people are former Kucinich people. Remember them? They all said that if Hillary were the nominee, they would stay home.
I get raked over the coals because I don't particularly care for Obama at this juncture (and at the rate his supporters are taking over this board, I may not ever like him). The Hillary-haters will hate her NO MATTER WHAT.
I was accused of being a freeper. Nice. That is what we have sunk to with the name calling.
