some of the more reliable pollsters were advising restraint.. yes.. Obama got a surge in Iowa..and ordinarily it would have evened out..but NH was just too close. People were trying to advise.."slow down..weekend polling is unreliable" Rubbish..was the response of the Obama supporters.. it is NO suprise that the polls were so wrong.. this is a lesson for all.

polls said this would be close. The national pollsters said Obama in a landslide. The local pollsters were right, obviously. There was some horrible sampling on behalf of the national pollsters (Gallup/ARG/Ras).

they couldn't measure it fast enough. Too many voters were undecided and events on the ground were developing too fast. Obama voters might have gotten comfy, and HIllary voters got determined.
