Nader, McKinney Confirm Presidential Debate Attendance
Progressives will hold their own Presidential debate here this Sunday when former presidential candidate Ralph Nader, Democrat-turned-Green Rep. Cynthia McKinney and others on the Green Party Presidential ballot Feb. 5 will participate in what is being billed as "A Presidential Debate That Matters."

A few things to say about this event and the lame spin the article perpetuates:

- Progressives have already had many of their own debates; they are called the Democratic primary debates.

- Maybe they call it "A Presidential Debate That Matters" because everyone there is going to lose, lol.

- All this having been said, maybe the debate will turn out really funny to watch! Imagine the splinterists fighting with each other and demonstrating that there are even splinterists amongst splinterists! It won't help that they've already decided that it doesn't matter how few people support them as long as they think they are right. This should make for some great drama.
